South African factory trawlers BORONIA and BLUEBELL use Mercury hw doors

Both factory trawlers from the South African fishing company Irvin & Johnson, BORONIA and BLUEBELL are equipped with Mercury hw 8,2m² semi-pelagic doors.

Murmansk factory trawler BORIS SYROMYATNIKOV uses Jupiter hw 12,0m² pelagic trawl doors.

Vestmann Islands trawler BERGUR use Neptune doors

bergur ve 03Westmann Islands BERGUR has used Neptune 5,0m² bottom doors since October 2005.

"We are very pleased with our Neptune 5,0m² doors. The doors are very good for our fishing, very stable on deep water, good distance between doors and good catches” says skipper Grétar Sævaldsson during landing in port of Reykjavik in April.

Scottish trawler POLARIS showing good results with first pair of Mercury hw 4,8m² low aspect ratio semi-pelagic trawl doors.

Due to increased demand for semi-pelagic fishing or where the bottom trawl is on the bottom but doors and part of bridles off the bottom, we came out with new version of our Mercury hw semi-pelagic doors.
