F/V POSEIDON receives a new pair of Jupiter hw doors

The Faroes factory trawler POSEIDON received a new pair of Jupiter hw 10,0m² doors to the south Pacific in April.

Skipper Klæmint Olsen says, "We have used Jupiter hw trawl doors on POSEIDON and ATHENA for four years now. We are very happy with the doors, they are good to shoot, easy to tow and keep good and steady opening of the trawls. We can adjust the doors rigging in front and aft to our fishing conditions, depending on fishing depth we are working and how much wire we like to pay out".

ATHENA used Jupiter hw 8,5m² doors in Mauritania fishing mackerel and horse mackerel. In Pacific, they have Jupiter hw 10,0m² and 11,0m² doors catching horse mackerel.
